Prague Food Festival 23rd to 25th May 2014
The Prague Food Festival 2014 will be presenting the best Prague restaurants and culinary stars from the region. The festival will be held in three days (from 23rd to 25th May) in the Royal Gardens of the Prague Castle (where the visitors can enjoy themselves in medieval vineyards). It is for the 8th time when the excellent dishes are presenting as well as the beverage producers and delicacies can be seen in here.
The motto of the festival is: “Don’t Eat Dumb, Don’t Drink Dumb, Don’t Even Live Dumb!”
The TOP regional restaurants from the nationwide survey, Maurer’s Grand Restaurant Selection will be there together with the TOP Prague restaurants.
What to expect in here? Here is the small sampling: You can look forward to catfish goulash from Svet Lake, raw vegan sushi with fresh wasabi, whipped lamb pate with rosehip jelly, pork cheeks, pork belly, or crispy black pudding.
There will be also Michelin Star Chefs and Grand Restaurant winners at the festival (for example Jan Šterba, Petr Fučík, Pavel Sapík)! Three-course meals will be professionally served with amuse-bouche all paired with the luxurious alcoholic and also non-alcoholic beverages.
In addition, the children will taste an ideal menu from a healthy school cafeteria and they can even participate in workshops and discussions. The children’s corner will have a playful educational program.
The Czech Culinary Awards is a new project that will be introduced at the festival. This will recognize the best farms, chefs, organic products that influence the Czech culinary scene.
There will also be a public survey of the most popular Czech dish and at the same time you can find out how you can perceive taste or smell.
